Lunch … Stir fry with chicken Chinese style

Stir fry with Chinese-style chicken is a unique dish that combines the richness of flavors, freshness of ingredients and an instant cooking process. This culinary technique, rooted in the deep roots of Chinese tradition, dates back to the ancient times of the Han Dynasty, when simplicity and efficiency were the keys to preparing everyday meals. Modern stir fry is a combination of delicate pieces of chicken, crunchy vegetables and aromatic spices, creating a harmonious composition of colors and flavors. It is an excellent dish for both a quick lunch and an elegant dinner, which allows you to feel the spirit of Chinese cuisine in the comfort of your own home.

Recipe

As an admirer of Asian cuisine, I often want to bring the flavors of China to my own kitchen. One of my favorite dishes is stir fry with Chinese chicken. It is an extremely aromatic dish that combines delicate chicken meat, crunchy vegetables and a distinctive sauce. In addition, it is a quick and easy dish to prepare, perfect for both lunch and dinner.

To season our stir fry we also need: salt, soy sauce, fresh ginger, fresh chilli pepper, chives, garlic, oyster sauce. A wok in which we will fry the ingredients and a pot for cooking the rice noodles will be extremely important.

Ingredients for 3 portion(s)

  • Sesame oil (30 ml)
  • Skinless chicken breasts (500 g)
  • Frozen Chinese Vegetables for Frying (250 g)
  • Rice noodles (200 g)
  • Sesame seeds (20 g)
  • Spring onions (40 g)

Preparation

We start by cooking the rice noodles according to the instructions on the package. Rice noodles are light and go perfectly with the taste of Asian spices. When the pasta is ready, I drain it thoroughly and set it aside.

Then I cut the chicken breasts into small cubes, making sure to make even pieces so that the meat cooks evenly. I chop fresh garlic, ginger and chilli pepper very finely – these ingredients will give the dish a depth of flavor and aroma.

I heat a wok over high heat. When it’s hot, I pour sesame oil into it, spreading it also on the sides of the wok – this will ensure even frying. I fry the chicken pieces thrown into hot oil for a while until they turn white, stirring constantly. This is an important step in the stir fry technique, which requires constant stirring to fry ingredients evenly and quickly.

I add the chopped garlic, ginger, spring onions and chilli to the chicken, continuing to fry for a minute, without stopping stirring. Then I put the frozen Chinese vegetables in a pan and fry for a few minutes until slightly softened – stirring all the time, of course.

The next step is to add spices – three tablespoons of soy sauce and oyster sauce each – mix everything thoroughly until the sauce starts to thicken gently. Finally, I add the previously cooked rice noodles, fry everything together so that the noodles combine with the sauce and vegetables. If the dish seems too dry, you can add a little water or more soy and oyster sauce to make the whole thing a perfectly seasoned composition of flavors.

At the end, I sprinkle the whole thing with roasted sesame seeds and fresh chives, which give the whole thing freshness and beautiful color. Stir fry with Chinese-style chicken is ready to serve – full of aromas, crunchy vegetables and juicy meat, it is sure to delight everyone!

The preparation of this Chinese dish takes about 15 minutes and is an ideal choice for people on a reduction, balanced or gluten-free diet. The glycemic index of this dish is 49, which also makes it suitable for people who care about their blood sugar levels. This dish is not only tasty, but also healthy – it provides protein, fat and carbohydrates, is rich in vegetables and full of distinct flavors of Asian cuisine.
